In The Garden - Week 7

I took a little break from posting last weekend because not much was happening in the garden... or so I thought.  This week, when I went to take pictures, I realized just how much everything had grown in the last two weeks!

The tomatoes are finally large enough to need cages.  I took some old woven wire fencing we had in the attic and made cages for my three tomatoes.  I like the woven wire better than the store-bought cages because there are more places for the branches to rest, and they are lots cheaper!

However, the most exciting development this week was our very first harvest!  It was small, but oh so delicious.
