P52 - Joy - 4/52

This week's Project 52 theme was Joy.  Lucky for me, I had a maternity shoot scheduled for a couple of my friends.  There's not much in the world more joyful than a new baby.

Texas Snowpocalypse

Last night, a mere hour north of here, it snowed!  They are calling it the Snowpocalypse (seriously, click on the link, it's funny)

We got a thin layer of ice that had melted by 10 am, but that didn't stop me from calling it a snow day and working from home.  No sense in trying to drive when all of my neighbors lose the ability to safely operate their cars in the rain much less in something resembling snow.

Those of you who live in parts of the country with actual winters will probably not appreciate the following photos; mostly because they feature things currently growing in my garden.

P52 - Inside - 3/52

Inside

If it was a little later in the year, you might actually be able to see the inside of the flower.  For now, you'll have to believe it's in there.

This week's theme was much harder than the previous two weeks for some reason.  Maybe because I don't like taking pictures inside?  Maybe next week will be easier.
